Our Swiss Chalet VILLA ALPINA is located within the community of Savièse on the south facing mountainside (elevation 1200 m) of the Rhone River valley. Savièse is just 7 km away from Sion, the capital of the canton Valais.

This part of Switzerland is famous for its sunny and almost Mediterranean climate in summer and its blue sky and white snow in winter. The region is also famous for its beautiful vineyards. The view of the highest alpine peaks is spectacular. We are living in the middle of nature and outdoor activities are plentiful. The nearby city of Sion includes  a charming market, modern shopping places and many cultural and historical sites.
